Ella comes to us with an abundance of passion and years of experience working with children.  She's been a basketball coach, a Youth Leader at YMCA Kelowna, an Elementary Teaching Assistant, and a Summer Camp coordinator.  She's currently pursuing a degree in Child and Youth Care from VIU.  Her greatest ambition is to make a difference in the lives of others.   

Justine is a certified educator with a Bachelor of Education and an Early Childhood Education background, and has spent the last 9+ years working with children in both daycare and school settings. She's passionate about creating a fun, inclusive, and supportive camp environment where kids can explore, grow, and feel truly seen. Justine loves weaving in storytelling, creative play, yoga, and mindfulness to help children connect with themselves and each other. Her “why” is simple: she believes in nurturing the whole child — heart, mind, and body — and creating safe spaces where kids can build confidence, express themselves, and shine just as they are.

Sheryl is the co-founder and Lead Guide at Acton Academy Nanaimo. As a mom, she is passionate about honouring childhood imagination and the importance of free play, both for her own children and for others. Her ultimate goal is for every child who walks through our doors to leave with a smile on their face and joy in their heart, having spent their day engaged in something truly worthy of their precious time.
